• The fight is really about the Taipei mayor election, with the DPP backing dentist-turned-candidate Shen Bo-yang, who was praised at a support rally attended by Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim.
• Chen argued Chiang is dodging real city issues and told him to focus on running the city, not national politics.
