Made in Hawaiʻi Festival returns for its 32nd year
Hawaiʻi's biggest showcase of local products is back, and this year it's the largest ever — good news for shoppers and small local makers.
- The Made in Hawaiʻi Festival runs four days next weekend at the Hawaiʻi Convention Center, using the first and third floors with nearly 300,000 square feet of space.
- More than 800 vendors are featured — the most in the event's history — spanning food, apparel, jewelry, and island lifestyle brands.
- Local makers headline the lineup: Keiki's Cookies (now under Ulumana) with flavors like apple-banana shortbread, plus bags and jewelry from brands like Kealoha and a Jana Lamb limited-edition collab.
- Organizers fixed last year's parking and line complaints with timed entry on Saturday and Sunday and a bundled shuttle pass from Stan Sheriff Center or Kaimukī High School for faster entry.
- Thursday is already sold out and Saturday is the busiest day; Sunday is the calmest and has the best sales.
Outlook: Expect big crowds next weekend, with Sunday shaping up as the easiest day to shop and score deals.
