Before leaving office, Kaohsiung Mayor Chen Chi-mai has released a new book, "Kaohsiung, Go Go Go! 2,314 Days of Extreme Transformation," reviewing six years of municipal achievements—a positive piece of publicity for his political standing.

• The new book centers on the 2,314 days since Chen Chi-mai took office in 2020, chronicling the course of his governance in areas such as industrial transformation, transport infrastructure, smart governance, and the concert economy.
• Its content covers the demolition of elevated bridges, the creation of green boulevards, the completion of the light rail loop, and the metro network, as well as governance challenges such as COVID-19 pandemic prevention and the resettlement of residents.
• The book is recommended by President Lai Ching-te, with endorsements from figures across the political, business, and academic worlds, including former Legislative Yuan Speaker Wang Jin-pyng, Foxconn's Young Liu, Acer's Stan Shih, Academia Sinica's Chen Chien-jen, ASE's Jason Chang, and badminton world No. 1 Tai Tzu-ying.
