A man in Taoyuan, Taiwan was arrested after using a found key fob to break into homes and steal, a local crime story with no upside for the burglar or his victims.

• A 31-year-old man found a lost access fob for a residential complex and used it to slip inside twice.
• He climbed in through open vents wearing a mask, and made off with about NT$30,000 in one break-in.
• Security cameras caught him despite the disguise, and police traced and arrested him.
• He admitted to the thefts and now faces burglary charges.

Outlook: Police are checking whether he was behind other break-ins as well.
