• The Kapolei-Makakilo House seat is separated by just one vote, and the Ewa Beach Senate seat by seven.
• The House race pits incumbent Kanani Souza against Sheila Maderas; the Senate race pits incumbent Kurt Fevella against former state rep Bob McDermott.
• A machine recount starts Tuesday morning, run the same way ballots were first counted, as state law requires.
• Voters have until end of business Friday to fix invalid ballots, such as those with a bad signature — 36 are in play in the House race and 45 in the Senate race.
