Anduril founder Palmer Luckey is publicly leaning into Chinese sanctions against him, pointing to Taiwan's perfect hit rate in live-fire tests of his company's attack drones — a sign of deepening US-Taiwan defense ties and worsening friction with Beijing.

• Taiwan's military hit every sea target in live-fire tests of the Altius-600M, a small strike drone bought from US maker Anduril.
• Luckey posted that this is exactly "why China sanctioned me," after Beijing labeled him a separatist and blacklisted him.
• China hit 20 US defense firms and 10 executives with countermeasures in December over arming Taiwan; Anduril was already on Beijing's unreliable entity list.
• Luckey floated arming Taiwan's UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters with the larger Altius-700, which launches from a helicopter and hunts targets on its own.
• He also took a swipe at US business leaders who stay friendly with Beijing, saying they will regret it when sanctions reach them too.

Outlook: Taiwan has already taken delivery of the Altius-600M and more drone deliveries are coming, so expect further Chinese pressure on US defense suppliers.
