• Teams spot a need in their community, build a business plan, and make a video pitching the idea.
• Schools can win up to $25,000 per division — elementary, middle, and high school — with no strings on how the money is spent.
• Top students can also win individual cash prizes up to $500.
• Pearl City High School has taken part for seven years, pulling in classes from entrepreneurship to engineering to English.
