Roads on Windward Oahu are back open after flooding shut down part of Kamehameha Highway, and nobody was hurt.

• Flooding closed Kamehameha Highway between Waiahole Valley Road and Waiahole Homestead Road.
• Waikane Stream spilled over the highway and trapped drivers in their cars.
• Firefighters pulled motorists out of the stranded vehicles.
• Both directions are now clear, with no injuries reported.

Outlook: Traffic is moving again, though more heavy rain could close the same stretch of road.
