Honolulu's ambulance fleet is getting a boost, good news for North Shore residents who lost their local rig to flooding earlier this year.

• Five new ambulances have been added to Honolulu's emergency medical services fleet.

• That rig was damaged while its crew was responding to a family trapped in a flooded home.
