Honolulu police are asking the public for help identifying two suspects, one in a sexual assault at a Waipahu bus stop and one in a Pearlridge-area store theft.

• A man sexually assaulted a woman at the Waipahu Transit eastbound bus stop late on a Saturday night in July; she reported it to a bus driver after boarding.
• The suspect is a man in his late 30s to 40s, slim, with curly black hair, a beard, a gray beanie, white sunglasses and a red Nike tank top — and he was carrying a distinctive skateboard.
• In a separate case, a woman in her 50s walked into a Pearlridge-area store in August, filled tote bags with merchandise and left without paying.
• Safety advice for late-night transit: travel in pairs, stay in well-lit areas near cameras, and trust your gut and call 911 if someone feels off.
• If you see a theft in progress, tell a store employee quietly instead of confronting anyone.
