A woman is fighting for her life after a driver slammed into a parked car on the H-1 freeway on Oahu and took off.

• The crash happened overnight on the eastbound H-1 in the Waipahu area.
• A driver went onto the right shoulder and hit the back of a car parked there.
• The driver kept going east and left the freeway at the Pearl City off-ramp.
• A 54-year-old woman in the back seat of the parked car was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
• Police are still searching for the driver.
